Who Pet Sitting is For

Pet sitting works well for pet owners who travel for work or vacation, families going on trips, and anyone whose schedule requires reliable daily care for their pets at home. It’s also the right choice if your pet is anxious in unfamiliar environments, takes medication that requires a trained handler, or simply does better staying in their own space.

Pet sitting is not designed for daily dog walking while you’re at work (see our Dog Walking service) or for overnight stays in the sitter’s home. Our Associates visit your home on a set schedule throughout the day.

What’s Included in Every Visit

Every pet sitting visit includes feeding, fresh water, medication administration, cleanup, and companionship. For dogs, walks are included in the visit cost. We also water indoor plants and bring in mail, newspapers, and packages as a complimentary service.

After every visit, your Pet Care Associate sends a detailed update through the Time To Pet app, including notes and photos. You can message your Associate directly, review visit reports, and schedule additional visits anytime from your phone.

Four visits per day is recommended for higher-energy dogs or older dogs who need more frequent potty breaks. Dog walks are included in the visit cost.

Pricing is for 30-minute visits. For households with several dogs or dogs who need more time and attention, longer visits are available. After-hours fees apply for early morning and late-night visits.

Almost Overnights

Pricing starts at $135 for a 2-hour evening and 1-hour morning visit.

Some pets need more social interaction – they get lonely or anxious when you are away, or just love being around people! For them we offer the Almost Overnight, which consists of 2- or 3- hour visits in the evening followed by a 1-hour morning visit. While we do leave at the end of the evening visit when your pet is heading to sleep, it’s Almost like we are there Overnight!

Why Choose Just Around the Corner

Just Around the Corner keeps your pets home, in the environment they know, cared for by trained, vetted employees who’ve been serving Plymouth since 2008. Unlike marketplace apps where accountability is limited, or boarding kennels where your pet is stressed and exposed to other animals, you get a professional team, not a listing on an app. That’s the difference between a professional pet sitting team and a listing on an app.

Reviews from Happy Clients

“I am beyond happy that I have found JAC – from the initial inquiry to the home visit to the actual first pet sitting, it has been nothing but an exceptional experience. As a local business owner there are times where I need a helping hand with our new puppy and it has been a great experience. We will continue to use and recommend!”

– Deirdre W.

“Just Around the Corner Pet Sitting has been looking after our “kids“ (2 cats) for the last couple of years. Whenever we are away from home, we know the cats are in good hands. The peace of mind knowing that they are being well cared for, and the house checked on, is priceless! Scheduling and communication is seamless. Highly recommend!”
